Doppie Dik Typeface

Doppie Dik Bold New Typeface

The original student project
When I was a student we were tasked to design a typeface.  I made the typeface by cutting the letterforms from the lids of soft cans.  It consisted of the 26 letterforms of the alphabet.  I have always had a vision to expand the typeface into a full set, with numerals, special characters and punctuation marks.  I finally set aside some time to re-design the typeface into a more refined piece of work.
